Hi, my name is Sue Yochum. I’ve been around for over half a century and have had paranormal experiences since I was a toddler. Originally from Evansville, I got my undergrad degree at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College (outside of Terre Haute) and later relocated to cities like Chicago, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Murfreesboro. I now live in Ferdinand (Dubois County). I am a certified Reiki practitioner and have innate abilities with energy work. I’m a former member of ETPRS (Eastern Tennessee Paranormal Research Society) and have done investigations in Georgia, Tennessee, and Indiana. My religious roots are Roman Catholic and I recognize pagan traditions as well; I use the term christo-pagan to describe my personal faith. Experiences I have had in the past include seeing relatives whom have passed on, sensing of energy fluctuations, hearing and seeing paranormal phenomena, having furniture physically move while I’ve occupied it, seeing light/UFO phenomena, and feeling phantom pain while investigating. I’m happy to be a member of BIPS and hope to both bring my experience to as well as learn from the group.
